Saturday, the next day after an overnight stay
Before boarding the Shinkansen, I decided to enjoy Toyama sake at "Sake Slow Food Toyama Housen" in the station building 🥰The store serves tin cups.
Sake that conveys the umami of the rice without the alcoholiness that is often associated with dry sake!
The sake has no aroma, but it is clean and dry with a nice lingering aftertaste, perfect for the hot summer!

We had a seafood set meal without breakfast before lunch at Toyama Wan Shokudo on the first floor of a commercial building near the station 🐟.

The snack was white shrimp sashimi 😍my first time eating it and it was delicious 🤩.
(Firefly squid was out of season, so no fresh ones 💦)
Delicious!
