At the Mikuriya Sakaegura, Gotemba Ishikawa Shuzo's directly-managed store, we were allowed to taste several kinds of sake (for a fee), and after much hesitation, I took home a four-pack of Ei Miyamanishiki Junmai Ginjo, the first bottle I tried. The slightly sweet and rough texture, like a pear, felt fresh to me, but I wondered what it would be like to drink at home.
The brewery just opened in January 2025, and we are looking forward to the future. I will support it!
