I was expecting a soft, fragrant, wine-like sake, such as the Junmai Daiginjo, Kramaster award winner, but it was the exact opposite, a pure Japanese mellow reminiscent of Yamahai.
However, it is the complete opposite.
It will be a reliable companion as a food sake while thinking of Yamagata's cuisine.
