Excerpt from HP "Ispahan 2020 Ispahan 2020" is a set of "Ispahan" cakes made with rose, lychee and raspberry, and "Kijo-shu" sake brewed by NEXT FIVE to match the cakes. Kijoshu is a sweet sake brewed with water, sake, rice and malted rice, using a method similar to ancient sake brewing. This time, we used "Flax Cat" from Shinsei Shuzo. It has a floral aroma with a prominent acidity. The cakes are baked in a custom-made rose-shaped mold using rice flour derived from the sake rice used in the brewing process. The moist, rose-scented pound dough is filled with sweet and sour raspberries and gorgeous lychees. This was insanely delicious 🥲💓. That's what I'm talking about, NEXT FIVE! This is one you should definitely drink if you see it!
