This is a tax return gift from Furusato.
I have never heard of this sake, but I wanted to take this opportunity to taste it.
The first sip after opening the bottle.
It's full-bodied. It has a rustic flavor like sweet potatoes and chestnuts. The aftertaste is clean and lingers.
The slight acidity accentuates the taste.
The yeast used is said to be a brewer's yeast. It is wonderful.
The rice is called "Kokuryo Miyako" (read "Kokuryo Miyako"). (The rice is called "Kokuryo Miyako. In the Meiji era (1868-1912), it was widely used from western Japan to the Kanto region, but it was in danger of extinction, and was revived from only 12 grains of seed rice left in the modern age. I was able to drink it while researching such things, thank you very much.
