Inanohana Ruri Unfiltered Nama Sake
This is a limited edition sake that was purchased from a distributor in order to purchase Yamori.
I was surprised that this sake shop was too kind.
The proprietress, who was on duty at the store, offered me a tasting, and when I told her I was driving my motorcycle, she allowed me to "smell" the sake before deciding on the aroma 😁.
She also gave us a good explanation of the sake, and told us that this sake was created by Hiroyasu Kurose, a former toji at Kuroki Honten, which brews Miyazaki's shochu "Hyakunen no Koroku" (Solitude of a Hundred Years), after he discovered how interesting sake was.
This is a limited distribution brand that started in 2020. The label features an ink artist and looks fashionable along with the bottle.
Serve cold.
The top aroma is sweet with a hint of magic inky aroma.
The texture is clean and smooth on the tongue with a refreshing acidity.
It is refreshing, and the sweetness is quite reserved for a sake -8.
It is rather sweet and sour.
Gradually, a slight sweetness comes in.
The finish is rather dry with a touch of bitterness.
The balance of umami, sweetness, bitterness and spiciness is not perfect, but it is an excellent product to look forward to in the future.
It is at its best right out of the refrigerator.
