After lunch, I went to the Aizu Higashiyama Onsen to warm up my body, because there was time to drink at night, we had a zero-sequence party at the hotel. I drank Snowdrop Takada Ume from Akebono Shuzo, which I purchased at Sota Watanabe Store.
This liqueur is a blend of Akebono-iro plum wine made from Aizu Takada plums marinated in sake and yogurt. The sourness of the yogurt comes immediately after you drink it, and the sourness of the plum comes into play a little later. You can taste the thick, rich flavor of the yogurt, but the acidity makes for a very refreshing finish. It is good to drink as an aperitif or dessert.
