I visited Masuda Sake Brewery once almost 10 years ago. I remember thinking that the brewer was a wonderful person who also knew a lot about wine. This Daiginjo was given to me as a gift from a person who went to Toyama Prefecture on a business trip. I only buy junmai myself, but I was impressed by the aroma brought out by the addition of alcohol, the strong 17% alcohol content, and the deep sweetness of the Yamadanishiki.
