The alcohol content is very strong in this nama-shu. It is easy to understand if you compare it with Kikusui's nama-shu, which you often drink when you ride the Joetsu Shinkansen in Niigata Prefecture. It is easy to compare it with Kikusui. It may be good with fish such as sashimi or boiled fish rather than Osechi dishes.
