When I came to Hatsumode (New Year's visit to a shrine), I found an otters' amazake at a fair stall and bought it.
I don't drink much amazake, so I can't compare the two. It was delicious! Sorry, I may be speaking out of turn.
It was warmed up (about warmed up) because of the winter sky, so it was refreshing to drink amazake not cold in the first place!
